Speculations, Observations and Theories

May have served in the Pacific theater during WWII.(note the Life Cover says "Super heroics' in the South Pacific")

The Lamplighter Statutes allow superheroes to testify in criminal, but not civil, trials without having to reveal their secret identities. They were presumably named after the Lamplighter, implying that he was the first superhero to do the very thing the statutes allow.
