Talk:Honor Guard

On the various team lineups, I'd motion we don't write the full titles out on their appearances. Here I think sticking with the old way 2:2 and so will save a little space... Then again JB if your new template effects it, it might change the look and won't matter...

Zack

This is a bit of place holder revision. I am still prototyping the banner layout for the roster changes. Moved all that to the sandbox until I get it into a more presentable state.

I have not lost all the team change dates and stuff (although once the prototype gets to a more finished state, it will be good for that stuff to get scrutinized). I just trimmed this page to be free of the cluttered layout that it was, so in the interim, its a bit more readable.

I'm still working on this, but it is still a bit of stall. Would really like the conditional parser functions, but I am fiddling with a work around. So the place holder status here is lifted. Edit away...

Just curious about some of your designs and ideas here. Would it work to combine the membership rosters over the years with the cases and adventures. Make it sort of like your prototype site? I'd keep the current cases and adventures as well as a timeline list... But you could have the pics of the original lineup and underneath the exploits that happened under them and so on. Leave just the exploits when we aren't sure who was a member on a particular battle. Might be against the grain of what you're trying, but just offering up a suggestion.

Zack

Yea, we are pretty much in tune there Zack. The sandbox has been exploring that, and the group template will hopefully still allow for flexibility to construct other formats. My main goal is to try to get something visual with the template that will group the team changes and their exploits, and embed that within a nice historical biography of Honor Guard over the years.

This is a different work effort, needs a long stretch of focus time, rather than the sneak in edits that I've been limited to of late. So it may be awhile before I get something tangible to show here.

Other info

Living Nightmare was a member the first time sometime prior to 1973 possibly the late or even mid 60s from info in 2:16.
Possible late 72 lineup- Silver Agent, El Hombre, Mirage, N-Forcer, Living Nightmare, Leopardman, Hummingbird, Cleopatra I, based on figures from above info. Probably not as there are 8 figures seen and probably more...
