Hmmm? Never noticed that before on the date you added. I do remember a line in there about "April Fool's Day was months ago, which would seem quite contradictory. Gonna have to dig her out. Thanks

EDIT: I just dug out my issue and couldn't find anything that gave April 4th for the date in issue 1:2. The only thing I could see was that Meskin's reporter id was first given in early Sept and reupped around the same time the year before. Making it seem to take place sometime before then.

Plus I guess we're not for certain whether this or the events of DA1:0 took place first, since nobody knew of the battle with Shirak. I guess the only thing to go by there is that the Williams Bros mentioned them having more exploits. And Eliot mentioned that it wasn't for sue that they were going to stick around...

I got the date from the Astro City main site, which provides an April 4 date for the newspaper article about the shark. It's in the archives section. If it contradicts the issue, though, then obviously the issue holds greater weight.
