Talk:Silver Agent
From Herocopia
Guys --
Most of this entry has to do with SA's relevance as a metaphor for the Silver Age, rather than his "in-world" actions as a hero, like most of the other entries are. Perhaps we should have a header for "References" at the bottom of each entry, where we can list this kind of stuff. Would be cool for a lot of the places as well (Binderbeck, Grandenetti, Wildenberg, etc).

Like you, I do like having the encapsulated section right at the top. But it shouldn't be named. It should stay crisply focused on the entry. We have lots of good examples and I think most of our entries are doing this.
I hope as we move forward that the expanded description/Speculations/Observations/Theories sections will have a lot more indepth material for the major characters. (Boy I wish Rene was still hanging around - she had some great material in the Brusier's forums).
I don't think all entries need an expanded section, but those that warrant one, the inner stucture and sub-sections would plug-in and out as needed for the character. This is where I will move the references/observations about the Silver Agent alignment to the Silver Age of Comics.
I think the best example of this "encapsulated" and "expanded" section layout that we currently have is the Quarrel II page. Rex Zorus also. I think the original Roustabout page was like this, and its general structure still retains this layout.
I like the idea of having a Reference Section/Footnotes and at the bottom, but it's content should be terse like a term paper's list. And again, not all entries need one.
For Silver Agent, I will work on building an "encapsulated description" that describes the character and move the silver age alignment stuff to the "expanded description" area that would come right after the powers section. But if one of you gets in there ahead of me, that is fine too.

Anything Rene posted in Bruiser's should still be there if you do a search for it (or just "show all topics" in the topic list). As far as I'm concerned, anything posted the the board is fair game for inclusion.
