I know at Bruiser's we've had the discussion before about this. But on the title page of 1:2 it shows a flying hero making sharp turns. We've named the possible canidates, Supersonic, Starwoman and N-Forcer. Anyone else I'm forgetting?

To me Supersonic seems the best bet. It kind of looks like his helmet from a distance. Plus N-Forcer would have been in his bulky armor.

There's a lot of flying heroes from the late 60s/early 70s pictured in DA1:4. Some of them could have been active in 1959. I don't think its Leopardman (with his flying jetpack) or Cleopatra I since no cape is visible (unlike the flying figure in 1:3, which I think is Samaritan), but the one in 1:2 could easily be the Green Man (known to be active in 1966 (LH:4) and shown flying in DA1:4) or the Gentleman. Certainly, Supersonic is a candidate, even though he was only occasionally in Astro City. And then there's the issue of who the blue flying figure in DA1:4 is? Is this Supersonic? The helmet's not quite right (with its goggles) and there's no turbines on his hands, but the coloring suggests that it's him... If it's someone else, then there's another possible candidate for 1:2.
