Before becoming the Deacon, master criminal in his own right, Deke MacManus was Joey "The Platypus" Platapopoulous's second-in-command. MacManus became the Deacon when he betrayed and murdered him, usurping his power.
Recruits members for his Cat Squad. Unknown what they actually do. Other of his troops were stylized type business suits as uniforms.
