Caplinville
A small country farming town a few hours distance by train from Astro City. In the story, Pastoral, Cammie Aarons spent was she thought would be a long, boring summer visiting her cousins and learning about rural life on farmland near Caplinville. Elliot Caplin and/or his brother Al Capp, whose real name was Alfred Caplin


Draketown, Alaska
A town that was destroyed by Thunderhead in 1995. First mentioned Kurt Busiek's Astro City Vol.1 #1. Writer Arnold Drake. He was the writer on Doom Patrol and his last Doom Patrol story was about a threat to destroy a small town in Maine, which might also be part of the name homage...


Magma Palace
