The Black Opal

A gem formed of the power, hatred, and anger of dead cosmoses.

History

After another defeat by Honor Guard, the subatomic conquerer known as Krigari the Ironhanded turned all his empire's attention to finding a way to defeat them. This eventually led him to the Non, where the Black Opal had formed over countless milennia. The opal granted him great power, including devastating energy blasts and immortality, but when it was destroyed, his soul was destroyed.

There is also a re-creation of the Black Opal, but it was less powerful than the original, and it is not working at last report. It was described as being able to "make my own island paradise just by thinkin' hard," which suggests that it offers reality-altering powers. Last seen in the possession of the Fixit Man, its current location is unknown.
