Mermaid She is an Oceanian. An underwater race yes, but also able to pull life giving oxygen from surface atmosphere. She had been a member of Honor Guard for many years. She now spends most of her time patrolling the oceans of earth, doing her best to keep things safe above and below the vast watery ways. History Powers During her encounters with Mister Manta, she has displayed impressive underwater skills, swimming with extended endurance, and for long distances. Her entire race seems to possess superior muscular compare to most surface-dwelling humans, along with stamina for arduous tasks. Observations Based on appearances, Mermaid's people are a distinct humanoid species or sub-species. Across their race, there are shared common abilities, they have similar genetic compositions. They seem to be a proud species, also possessing that rarest of qualities, a quiet humility and graceful demeanor. Speculations, Theories The City State of Oceania (name and governing framework assumed) is located somewhere along the underwater basins of one of the seven oceans. There could be several distinct population areas scattered about the Ocean. Or a series of migrating city-states that move along the underwater ocean tides, following the seasons like whales and other aquatic creatures.
