Richard Forgione
HistoryOn March 15, 1974, Richard Forgione and Lisette Palais were at Tallarico's, when they became involved in an argument. It quickly escalated into a physical one and before anyone could step in, Richie had bludgeoned her to death. A few months later, the case went to trial. With evidence seeming mounted against him and over fifty witnesses it seemed he was destined to lose with rookie lawyer. But the trial was noteworthy, as his lawyer, Vince Oleck first raised the so-called "superhero defense." Putting doubt into the minds of the jury, who came back with a not guilty verdict, Forgione got off scott-free. Shortly thereafter, Richard was shot and killed, apparently by the Blue Knight.
Speculations, TheoriesVince Oleck noted that Richie was likely a psychopath, based on his murdering of Palais and his seemingly normal calm state any other time.
